Jeff Priskorn

In addition to being an accomplished songwriter and musician, Jeff Priskorn is also serious about acting and voice work. Here you may view his resume, watch his acting reels, read his bio, browse some professional and candid photos, and listen to some of his voice demos.

And later, if you're feeling particularly saucy, why not listen to some of his prank phone calls or read one of his short stories?

When you're done, feel free to find out more about Jeff's comedy band, Curious Jack, and his rock band, Mad Rabbit. And don't forget about his movie and TV production company, Loose Change Entertainment!

Yesterday I was on one of the most fun and well-run sets I've ever been on: Amir Baghdadchi's Marley for Michigan. It's a serial about a country girl cop who decides to run for state senate. The script is razor sharp, the cast funny, and the crew more than solid. I played a ridiculous fan-boy of a candidate at a fundraising dinner, got to improvise a little, and worked with a bunch of great people. I need more of this in my life!

I had the opportunity to work with my wife on a commercial for Heat 'N Sweep patio furniture yesterday. It was a hot, sticky day spent with some great people in a meticulously landscaped environment. My new agent Robere, from Haute Management, was on hand to make sure we "talent" were properly taken care of. It was a great day!

So as many of you probably know, I'm a craft beer nut/snob/etc. I used to write the occasional article or blog post for I'm A Beer Hound, and somehow out of that I was offered to opportunity to write the beer article for the May 2019 issue of Hour Detroit magazine! I know, right!

Anyway, here's a link to my article, about Going Undercover. I hope you enjoy it!

The St. Patrick's Day Hangover

March 1, 2019

Well, we had a great run of He Said Yes at Planet Ant! And now it's on to a bunch more projects: 1) workshopping a really fun and ambitious musical called Dance of the Aphids, based on the story of Job from the Bible; 2) the resurrection of my old Irish band Carnalea for a one-off St. Patrick's Day show at the Dakota Inn on March 16; and 3) the debut sketch show from The Guys Upstairs on Friday, April 5, at Exferimentation Brewing in Pontiac. It would be great to see you for #2 and 3!

Jacquie and I are teaching a voice over class this semester at Goteri Creative Arts in Ferndale. Called "Finding and Exploring Your Commercial Voice", it's a 3-week class and costs $175. If you've ever wanted to break into the VO game, here's an excellent way to get your foot in the door!

Well, happy new year, everyone! The year has started out on a high note, as I have been cast as the lead in the new original play by the awesome Kelly Rossi, He Said Yes. Performances will be at the Planet Ant black box in early February. I'll try to keep you posted as the premiere draws nigh. XOXO
