It's been almost a month since I last posted. So, how've you been? Good. It's been fairly quiet in Suburbiaville, just waiting on a bunch of film festivals, peddling DVDs, what-have-you.
A couple of weeks ago I finally got over to Thomas Video in Clawson and got them some copies of the movie. I believe they are selling and renting copies, but I could be mistaken. Anyway, what better way to support local movies than by checking out Thomas Video and asking to rent or buy Love & Plutonium?! They also have Arbor Daze there as well. Christmas is coming up... why not get a DVD or several as stocking stuffers? Fun for the whole family (ages 13 and up). Or how about some other swag as well? Come on, support us and we will certainly give thanks!
Thomas Mansell (Mandrake the Malicious) sent me a really cool drawing yesterday. His brother Chris (an ardent supporter of Loose Change) gave Tom a drawing for his birthday. Check it out on the Artwork page.
Next weekend, Jacquie and I are traveling to Chicago for a few days. We will relax, eat at Geja's Cafe (the coolest fondue place on the planet), and see one of my favorite bands, the acoustic duo Jackopierce. They tour rarely these days, and the closest they come is Chicago, so it's off to the Windy City. I believe this will be my 5th time seeing them. Hopefully we'll be able to hang out with my good friend (and former bandmate) Nate and his wife Jessi as well.
Then, in December, we are headed to California for 5 days. We're going to see what the housing (apartment) market looks like, see some friends, and see how we feel about possibly living out there. Who knows? At least the weather should be nicer.
Enjoy, stay warm, rake your leaves, and have a fine November.
